Description It has wheat-colored branches lined with olive green, lobed leaves.
Mature Size 3 to 8 feet tall
Bloom It blooms in April - September with white flowers followed by white to pink feathery fruit clusters from May to October.
Interesting Facts It was named for its feathery seed heads which bear a striking resemblance to Indian feather bonnets.
Traditional and Medicinal Uses Native Americans once brewed a tea from the leaves to promote hair growth.
