Bloom In the spring and summer this plant produces pale yellow ray florets. Its pappus is brownish or grayish white.
Interesting Facts This plant was introduced to us from Africa, Asia and/or Europe.
Traditional and Medicinal Uses This pasture weed is readily eaten by livestock. The leaves, stems and roots have been eaten as a vegetable.
