Description This native biennial is a wetland plant. The leaves are longer and less pointed than Gaura mollis (Small flowered gaura)
Mature Size Up to 56" tall.
Bloom July-September. The pink flowers are larger than the Gaura mollis (Small flowered gaura). They are about ½" wide and ½" long. The petals spread upward and the filaments point downward.
Interesting Facts The New Mexico gaura grows in New Mexico, Colorado and Wyoming.
