Description A hair-covered annual. Leaves are 1"-5" long and clustered at the base of the plant.
Mature Size 3"-10"
Bloom May-July Flowers are whitish, in 1"-5" spikes and surrounded by wooly bracts, densely packed together.
Interesting Facts Common in sandy soils. Is not highly competitive.
Traditional and Medicinal Uses Utilized by livestock.
