Alexis Bove, a Household Member of the Santa Fe Botanical Garden, noticed last summer that our sun-blocking parasols for visitors to use were looking a little worn by the end of the season.  She graciously called this winter to donate two gorgeous parasols in bright colors that will look like flowers are strolling the garden.  Thinking ahead to protecting the parasols, she also donated a charming  dragonfly hook to hang the parasols on when not in use so that they will last longer.  And what a planner she must be:  she has several more in reserve so that she can provide them to us later when these have had more wear.   Alexis is the owner of Alchemy Salon on Paseo de Peralta by Travel Bug.
