We’re working to expand our environmental education program for school children to include a new focus on the middle school years.  Educators tell us that middle school can be the “make or break” time for both academic achievement and high school graduation.  Our near-term goals for education include working with science teachers using a downloadable curriculum combined with field trips to our preserve, hiring an Education Director, and providing more materials for on-site plant science classes.

We’re working to grow our membership – both individual and business.  Members receive a wide range of benefits, including free admission to our popular Winter Lecture Series and access to over 300 botanical gardens, arboreta and conservatories.

We’re building a world-class Botanical Garden at Museum Hill. This complex will provide a resource for youth and adult education, bring increased tourism dollars to Santa Fe, and be a place of beauty and reflection for all.

In 2012 we celebrate our 25th Anniversary
